This project consisted of the renovation and addition to Middlebury’s historic “John Warren House”, built in 1804-05, to provide a new home for the Vermont Folklife Center.  Handicap accessible bathrooms, an elevator, and new fire protection system were installed. The main floor of the completed project provided a Gallery, two rooms of retail space (pictured right), a conference/meeting room, and kitchen.  The upper floor was renovated to contain five offices and a common room.
