High School Library – Rutland, VTThe Rutland high School Library Renovations project was a retrofit ,adding approximately 2,700sf of second floor meeting/classroom space, along with complete overhaul to the existing 4,400sf of first floor space. The project consisted of demolition, site work, concrete, masonry, major structural steel infill, and connecting to existing steel members.
The work also entailed concrete decking, steel studding, GWB, additional sprinkler protection in the cathedral area, windows, doors, casework, storefront upgrades, ACT, electrical/lighting upgrades, upgrades to the buildings data wire, decorative Marmoleum flooring, and upgrades/integration into the building HVAC system. The project was completed while occupied, and took careful coordination with the school administration to minimize disruptions to students/faculty.
Total duration of the project was four months.
