Jiffy Mart – New Haven, VT

The Jiffy Mart, New Haven project consisted of a complete tear down of an existing C-Store and rebuild of a new and larger building. The locals that frequented the old store were concerned about losing the nostalgia of what was there, but Champlain Oil Company has provided a new building that has brought much more to the town. Not only can patrons enjoy a large seating area, but also drive-through service for a newly installed Dunkin' Donuts Shop. A typical Jiffy Mart staple are the very high ceilings, that add to the spacious feel of the store. Also included in the design is a walk-in beer cave, making easy access for customer shopping. Not only is the New Haven Jiffy Mart a larger space, but also much more energy efficient. A state of the art HVAC system, paired with a well designed building envelope, are just a couple items included in the goal of better efficiency.
